Lightning Warning System
The school has a lightning warning system which automatically detects lightning within a 10 km range of the school. All activities must cease and cover sought when one long blast is heard from the siren and the strobe light on the pavilion is activated. Activities may continue once the all clear has sounded (two short blasts) and the strobe light goes off. For more information about the lightning policy please click here.
The school has an anonymous online reporting tool for students to report any type of event / activity. This is printed in the students diary for their convenience.
The evacuation plan is on the wall in every classroom. Evacuation practice is done periodically during the course of the year.
